Wolverine was fun!  I'd go see it again just for the Hugh Jackman nakedness (that man is YUMMY!)  No high-brow meta to be found here, just ogling the eye-candy!  I will say that there was one part (near the end) where the special effects were rather off, but other than that, it was one of the better comic book movies.

This Sunday is Star Trek!  Yay!  And then new Terminator!  Extra Yay!!

*sigh* I love summer...

Saw Iron Man this weekend... what a kick-ass movie!!   Robert Downey Jr. did a wonderful job (especially as a self-centered jerk of epic proportions!).  I was even happy with Gweneth Paltrow, who sometimes just leaves me cold.  This movie is just what a comic book adaptation is supposed to be - lots of humor (I want one of those workshop robots!), plenty of action, and a villian that isn't too over the top (which makes him scarier, IMO)

I am looking forward to so many movies this summer: Prince Caspian, Speed Racer (for the crack alone!), Indiana Jones, The Happening (hoping it won't completely suck), WALL-E, Hancock, Hellboy II (Ron Perlman, mmmm!), Dark Knight, X-Files II, and Mummy III.  (Wow, I didn't realize how many sequels there were this summer until I typed them all out!)  Y'all can keep your snooty/intellectual/high-brow/artsy movies - just give me some popcorn and a cheesy movie with lots of action and I'm good.

ETA:  Happy Cinco de Mayo!  I don't know how I could forget, since I live in O.C.  Guess I need to make tacos tonight...  Mmmm, tacos.     \o/
